Opti Coat Ceramic Coatings
What is Opti-Coat?
Opti-Coat is a hard wearing, ceramic clear coating that provides superior scratch resistance, and permanent protection for all factory paints, and exterior surfaces.
What Makes Opti-Coat So Different?
Opti-Coat is a permanent coating that will not wash away, or break down over time. It is more than 100 times thicker than the typical wax coating. This allows Opti-Coat to effectively absorb damage that would otherwise affect the factory paint layers. Swirl marks and light scratches are not only decreased by the harder ceramic coating, the factory paint is also protected and preserved. Opti-Coat is completely resistant to acidic environmental substances such as bird droppings. Unlike your factory clear coating that can be permanently damaged, Opti-Coat will not etch or dissolve when in contact with these substances, and a clean, glossy coating is maintained.
What Are The Benefits Of Applying Opti-Coat?
Opti-Coat will provide the owner with superior clear coat film that is resistant to chemical etching, harder than factory clear coatings to reduce swirl marks and scratches, and a permanent, hydrophobic surface that is easier to clean, and stays cleaner for longer!
Our Process For Application
We start by thoroughly washing the entire vehicle. We then begin decontaminating the vehicle surface with Ferrex. This removes all iron deposits and particles from the paintwork. We then continue the decontamination process by removing all other contaminants with synthetic clay bar pads. This will create a perfectly clean, smooth surface to begin the paint correction process. Even brand new cars need at least one stage of paint correction followed by a one stage polish. We use several German Compounds and Polishes from Menzerna and Sonax, or American made products such as OPT Hyper Compound, Hyper Polish, and others to restore the vehicles paintwork to “Better Then New” Condition. The vehicle is then thoroughly wiped down with and IPA solution. This strips all oils from the vehicle surface which are left behind from the buffing process. At this point, we have perfectly corrected, bare paintwork. We then apply the 20cc’s of Opti-Coat Pro to the entire vehicle surface (except for glass), including all plastic trim. This coating takes 30 minutes of dry time. If the vehicle will be receiving the Opti-Coat Pro Plus coating, another layer of gloss-enhancing ceramic coating is applied to the vehicle’s paintwork.
Both the Opti-Coat Pro and Opti-Coat Pro Plus Coating Packages include the paint decontamination, one stage of paint correction, one stage of polishing, and the coating application. Paintwork that requires additional paint correction may be subject to an additional charge. This will be determined by the technician before work begins on your vehicle.
Opti-Coat Pro and Opti-Coat Pro Plus come with a five year or seven year warranty respectively backed by Opti-Coat. That is piece of mind that your vehicle will remain in perfect condition for years to come!
